Senior Technical Architect, J2EE, Ajax, Oracle, London. My client is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Architect do assist in the delivery of a number of high profile projects. Ideally you will have experience as an Architect, used to working on multiple projects to tight timescales and budgets. Technically you will have a strong background in J2EE within n-tier environments, Ajax and Oracle Apps. This is a high profile role, responsible for the deliverability of complex multi sited projects and you should have an in depth knowledge of delivering this type of application. My client is a leading supplier of high quality bespoke systems to a number of blue chip and government organisations. Due to expansion they are looking for a number of Senior Technical Architects to be involved in defining and implementating architectural changes as well as leading development teams within a cross functional, high profile environment in technical strategy. Knowledge of moving existing Java technologies to a service oriented architecture is ideal. Skills required are strong architecture definition experience using one or more best practice architecture definition methodologies backed with significant Java development and design experience. Key technologies include Java (J2EE), Microsoft Ajax, various open source products (Linux, Apache, JBoss, Tomcat and MySQL), BEA WebLogic and Oracle (RDBMS and E-business Suite) would be advantageous. Salary: 12 Month Contract at £600 per day.

You will have EAI project experience, with a strong background in development and design. You will be well versed in the Tibco Suite, including BusinessWorks and InConcert, along with an excellent understanding of PortalBuilder and B2B products. You must be proficient in all languages associated with the Tibco suite, including XPATH and XML, you will also be proficient in JMS, EJB, SQL, Java, XML and HTML, and have a familiarity with iterative development life cycle and methodology, along with Front End design and development. Experience of App Servers is a must - EJBs, JSP and Servlets. You must have a track record of successful deployment of complex, high volume, event driven Tibco Infrastructure Solutions, and have a solid understanding of the operational aspects of Tibco solutions and the correct handling of operational issues or migration challenges.
